Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) and Incident Action Planning (IAP) Training
The California Hospital Association (CHA) has developed a 4-hour HICS Basics course that is designed for hospital management and primary HICS responders. It includes 2 hours of lecture and 2 hours of a Hospital Command Center table top drill scenario. HICS Basics Flier (PDF)

In Los Angeles County, this training is being funded by the Los Angeles County EMS Agency Hospital Preparedness Program through the Hospital Association of Southern California. The hospital is only responsible for supplying photocopied materials, classroom and continuing education credit. All materials are provided for continuing education requirements.
